When we started the B Corp process, I wasn’t sure what to expect and to be honest the process proved far more challenging and rigorous than we’d anticipated. But I think that’s what makes the achievement feel so significant – you have to be committed.
A lot of it wasn’t about changing who we are. It was about cementing the ways we already work, making them intentional, measurable and transparent. It forced us to check assumptions, formalise good habits, and ask the uncomfortable questions.
Becoming certified in December 2024 was a milestone, but what matters more is the mindset behind it. B Corp gives us a framework to make sure we operate responsibly – for our people, clients, communities and the environment – every day.
We work in property, an industry that shapes places and communities for decades, if not centuries, to come. That influence comes with responsibility. I want Fourwalls to grow and succeed, but I also want us to do it with purpose, thoughtfulness and integrity.
This report is our first since certification. It captures what we’ve improved, where we still have work to do, and the commitments we’re making for the year ahead.
We won’t get everything perfect first time. But we will keep moving forward – deliberately, openly and with care.
Owen Turgoose CEO Fourwalls Group

We are a creative and marketing agency operating in the prime property sector. If you ever find yourself scrolling through Rightmove looking at photos of beautiful houses, there’s a strong chance we took them!
The work we produce shapes how places are presented to the world. That influence matters. As a business working within this sector, we are conscious that what we create does more than market buildings. It contributes to how communities grow, how environments are perceived and how decisions are made.
Certifying as a B Corp in December 2024 was a deliberate step forward –although our journey started a good year before that. It allowed us to formalise the standards we already held ourselves to and to strengthen them with structure, measurement and independent verification.
The process examined how we lead the business, how we support and care for our team, how we manage environmental impact, how we work with suppliers and how we serve our clients. In many areas, it confirmed what was already embedded in our culture. In others, it challenged us to be clearer, more accountable and more consistent.
For us, B Corp is not about claiming to be perfect. It is about committing to improvement. It ensures that, commercial ambition and responsible practice sit side by side. We believe that alongside other businesses in the B Corp movement, we all have a shared responsibility.

To become B Corp certified, businesses must score a minimum of 80 points. The current median score for non-B Corp certified businesses is 50.9.
We were delighted to achieve 87.7, a score we are determined to better for our re-accreditation.
Over the following pages we aim to show you where and how these improvements are already taking place.

Overall score:
87.7
Score broken down:
This year was about being more intentional with our environmental footprint. Not dramatic gestures, but practical changes that add up.
We looked closely at how we work day-to-day and began tracking impact more consistently where we could reduce our footprint without compromising performance. We also began encouraging energy-conscious habits for those working from home.
As an industry too, the built environment is all working towards Net Zero for 2050. The government recently announced a new deadline for domestic rental properties to achieve an increased minimum standard of energy efficiency by 2030, something that our Energy Consultancy team have been working hard to advise landlords on.

As a company we’ve worked extremely hard to certify as a B Corp, of which I’m hugely proud to have been a part of. It’s so important for me that we are a business committed to continuous improvement and making a difference; not only for our team and for those we work alongside, but also for our community and the environment. As a B Corp, that’s what we do.

I really value working for a B Corp company as it strongly aligns with my own personal values. It’s important to me to be part of an organisation that not only focuses on commercial success but also prioritises social and environmental impact.
I always try to purchase from B Corp companies when shopping - so I’m really pleased that Fourwalls became certified. It’s that reassurance that the company walks the walk: committing to the cause as well as setting a good example for like-minded businesses. This really aligns with my values, which is why I volunteered to become a B Corp ambassador.

I believe deeply in the change that the B Corp movement is striving to bring about so becoming an ambassador was a nobrainer. Businesses carry so much power and can create such impact that by making improvements bit by bit, day by day, I really think we can help to effect positive change for our people, environment and communities around us.

I wanted to become a B Corp ambassador because I believe businesses have a real opportunity to make a positive difference for people and the planet. It’s something meaningful to be part of and I hope we can inspire others to think differently about what success looks like.
I believe everyone has a role to play in helping to create a better world. I’m proud that at Fourwalls we are committed to doing exactly that. Becoming a B Corp ambassador allows me to contribute meaningfully to this mission and to help ensure that, as a company, we continue the important work we’ve set out to achieve.
For me, B Corp shows that Fourwalls is not only committed to improving the way they operate through sustainable and environmentally considered methods, but also strives to increase customer loyalty and motivate their workers. It sets a great precedent to others, not just competitors but those they work with and for. Why wouldn’t others want to join us?!
I believe that businesses can – and should – be a force for good. On a personal level, I’m motivated by the idea of aligning my work with my values. Sustainability, transparency and social responsibility aren’t trends to me; they’re principles that influence how I make decisions and where I invest my energy. I now have the opportunity to help embed responsible practices into everyday operations, champion ethical partnerships, and strengthen Fourwalls’ reputation as a values-led organisation.
Our client relationships are long-term by design. In fact some clients have been with us for over 30 years and we cherish these partnerships. This year we focused on making the experience clearer, more responsible and more considered.
We are also undertaking a substantial project reviewing every aspect of the customer journey to highlight where efficiencies and improvements can be made across the business.

“Fourwalls are a superb team. The high level of service and quality of their work is second to none. We would have no hesitation in recommending them. They are, very simply, the best in the business.”
Andrew Russell

“I cannot highly recommend Fourwalls more. From scheduling a suitable appointment, to Sara arriving on time to do my photography and floor plan, to providing such useful tips on how best to arrange our furniture. All the way making us feel relaxed and at ease throughout her visit. Great company to work with.”
Elaine Alexander

“We’ve been using Fourwalls now for a good few months. Their photography is superb and our clients are thrilled with the overall attitude of the photographers that attend. Overall a very good service and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.”
George Hughes
“Anna was brilliant. Although her assignment was a technical one of measuring and producing a floor plan, she did this with a real interest and sensitivity towards the property. She was very thorough and very conscientious and it was a real pleasure to have someone who enjoyed their work and was keen to share their enthusiasm.”
Chris Sutcliffe

“Amy came highly recommended by our agent and we totally concur with their opinion. On time, efficient and diligent, she is a consummate professional. She has a lovely gentle way of asking for what’s needed to optimise the photo but treads lightly and is not invasive. We are very happy with the results. Thank you.”
Elly Butler

Certification set a benchmark. What matters now is how we build on it.
Over the past year we have taken practical steps to strengthen governance, reduce elements of our environmental footprint, support our people more intentionally and improve how we work with clients and communities. Some changes were structural. Others were cultural. All are ongoing.
We are clear that meaningful progress takes time. Reducing impact, improving equity and deepening community engagement require consistency and collective responsibility.
Fourwalls will continue to measure, review and evolve how we operate. Not because we have to, but because we believe it is the right way to build a resilient and responsible business.
Better business is not a campaign or a one-off commitment. It is how we choose to grow.
