El Cuidador is a personal project between longstanding friends Javier Muria and Nicholas Crampton with the aim to create modern site specific organic and sustainable wines. These wines typify the modern Spanish attitude to winemaking – fresh and vibrant wines made with care and with attention to organic viticulture, turning out delicious food friendly reds that are true to their variety.

Fontavera wines are crafted by winemaker Andrea Sartori, the great-grandson of the founder of the still family-owned Sartori di Verona Winery in 1898, now considered one of the most important wineries of the North-East. Andrea has strongly voiced his concerns of the impact of climate change and advocated the need to support the future of organic viticulture combined with higher altitude plantings. The wines of Fontavera are a direct result of his ambition, seeking out older, organically farmed vineyards grown on higher, cooler sites.

A homage to Mother Nature – devoted guardian of our lands and our vineyards – these wines are naturally organic and vegan friendly. Made from fruit grown in the great valleys of Marlborough and Central Otago, New Zealand, the Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir have been crafted by the elements and shaped by the vast landscape of its home.

Bernard Schurr began working with horses from an early age, following a firm family tradition that enabled him to develop and showcase his affinity with farming and the land more broadly. Working in the viticulture community and with wine seemed like an easy and obvious transition for him. Bernard’s longstanding relationships with generational grape growers are based on mutual beliefs in viticulture, winemaking and ultimately the wines they like to share, as wine is of course for sharing. Bernard produces small parcels of exceptional hand-crafted wines that showcase the region and the vintage from one of France’s most classic winemaking regions.

Il Villaggio Organico is sourced from premium vineyards of some the finest regions from the very north to the very south of Italy. The Nero d’Avola from the far north-western tip of Sicily, sitting above the ancient city of Erice. The combination of altitude, mineral soils and protected sites creates richly flavoured but elegant wines. Andrea Sartori has been a pioneer in organic viticulture and the vineyards have been certified organic for up to thirty years.
