CHALLENGE
A challenge is a gift that can be “unlocked” or obtained by meeting a specific goal. The goal can be measured and fulfilled by reaching a certain amount of dollars raised (a Dollar Challenge), when a specific number of donors have given (a Donor Challenge), or when a predetermined number of qualifying donations have been made (a Donation Challenge).

We welcomed back “Heartful Moments” visits, where we extend the giving spirit beyond the giving day by surprising randomly selected nonprofits with special gifts to celebrate and thank them for the incredible work they do in our community.
2025 offered even more training opportunities to equip local nonprofits with the tools they need to elevate their campaigns. Mohawk Valley Gives University and Coffee Break sessions returned, and we introduced an all-new pilot program: Helping Hands.
The Helping Hands program, facilitated by FMN Creative, provided select extra-small and small organizations with 4-week, handson workshops, which guided them through building and launching their Mohawk Valley Gives campaign for 2025.
