Disney Cruise Review
The first Disney Cruise came out on July 30, 1998. It was very expensive, but yet again, that's Disney. Now fast-forward to today, there are six ships sailing from around the world from Melbourne, Australia to Cozmel, Mexico, to Port Canaveral, Florida. Each of these ships brings a unique and fun experience for toddlers to full on adults. From a Jack-Jacks Diaper Dash to a relaxing time in the spa to exciting activities in the kids' club, everyone has something to do! On port days, families can go and explore the tropical destination. Each one has a different and fun adventure waiting, whether it's going to a beach or shopping in their plazas. There is usually something for everyone. Or for those who do not want to get off, they can stay on the ship where there are various activities to do. On days at sea there are so many things you can do, like meet Mickey and his friends. Yes, the lines to meet these amazing characters are usually long, but the wait is worth meeting the fun friends. The waterslides are so much fun, and they are different on each ship. For example, on the Disney Magic, there is the AquaDunk which drops you, and on the Dream and Fantasy there is the AquaDuck, which is a fun and kinda relaxing water ride. There is also a massive TV screen on the deck for those in the pool, waiting in line for the water ride, or for those who want to be in the sun and watch a movie. The all-you-can-eat buffet is absolutely filling and good. Each day there is a section of food dedicated to different cultures, foods like Indian or American. For dinner there are different restaurants you can go to, like Animator's Palate, which is on most ships, or Worlds of Marvel on one of the newest ships, the
Wish. Each of these dinners brings the utmost entertainment and the servers are amazing at their jobs. The server's travel with you to each of your dinners at the different restaurants, and each server is unique, and they are from other countries, so it is usually fun to learn about where they are from. Another amazing entertainment choice that is before and after dinner is the Broadway shows that they do almost every night, and they never disappoint. Each show is different on each ship, but some ships have the same shows. The time and effort put into each show is amazing, and the results are flawless. The crowd's favorite is usually the genie from Aladdin, because he makes his script different each time and what he says never fails to make the crowd laugh. On the final day on the ship, if you are on the tropical Disney ship, you get to go to Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. On the island there is so much to do. There are beaches, of course, waterslides, a biking trail as well as a running trail. Including for lunch, there is a delicious BBQ buffet. There are sand volleyball courts for everyone, and the teens have their own private area. In conclusion, Disney Cruise’s are the best cruise line because it is family friendly, an amazing experience that I think everyone should get to experience, and you get to travel to different and unique cultures.
