A New Library for Silverdale
Finally, A True Community Campus for Central Kitsap In the fall of 2018, a partnership was launched with the Central Kitsap School District
to relocate the Library in Silverdale to the south end of the Central Kitsap High School campus. With two schools, multiple sports fields and tennis courts, a 900-seat
auditorium and a family-friendly walking trail, the campus is expertly focused on
enriching our community’s kids. With a new public library, this campus becomes an invaluable place for the whole community.
Creating New Stories The project is officially underway! Thank you so much for your generosity and vision in making a new Library for Silverdale a reality. Your belief in the Library’s mission has made this investment in our community possible. We are excited to share a few highlights of the project to date and look forward to continuing to update you along the way. And in January, join us in kicking off the last chapter of our fundraising efforts, with the Community Campaign launch and a Do It Yourself (DIY) Virtual Fundraiser. While it is not how we imagined finishing this journey, you can look forward to safe and fun ways to get involved for community members of all ages. You will hear more about this soon! We hope you enjoy seeing how the project is coming along and what a difference your generosity is making. You’ve done so much to make this long-awaited dream a reality.
