• Take a canoe trip down the Sok River where you’ll drift along the jungle river passing Limestone Mountains and cliffs covered with exotic tropical vegetation, before heading over to the elephant sanctuary, where you’ll see, touch and learn the life of the Thai elephants.

• 1-night stay in your luxury safari tent with dinner and optional evening entertainment.

DAY 2 • Wake up to the sounds of nature and bird calls in Khao Sok. Have a leisurely breakfast before exploring Cheow-LanLake by long tail-boat where you’ll cruise across emerald waters passing towering rainforest Limestone Mountains.

• Check in to your luxury tent and enjoy lunch at the floating Elephant Hills Rainforest Camp.

DAY 3 • Take a morning of leisure - whether you choose to submerge into the glassy surface of the lake or explore via canoe, by the next day you will already regret the things you have not done...

• After breakfast, enjoy a guided canoe safari along Cheow-Lan-Lake. You will find yourself in the heart of the rainforest on a silent adventure – words cannot do this experience justice.

• Enjoy one last lunch served at the floating tented camp, before returning to the pier and moving on to your next destination with Star Clippers.

Orang Utan and Sun Bear Experience Borneo • Fly from Kota Kinabalu to Sandakan to visit the world’s largest Orang Utan Sanctuary.

• Meet and greet at the airport and drive to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre where orphaned and injured Orang Utans are brought to Sepilok to be rehabilitated to return and fend for themselves back in the wild.

• Proceed to Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre (BSCC) and witness the effort to provide for the care, rehabilitation and release of orphaned and captive sun bears, as well as address the lack of knowledge and awareness of this little-known bear both in Malaysia and internationally.

This 1-day tour can be added on as a pre or post to any of our sailings that start or finish in Kota Kinabalu

• Stop at a local restaurant for lunch and proceed for a city tour and explore the various landmarks of Sandakan, which may include the Central Market and the most amazing variety of fresh seafood and agricultural products. Visit Sim-Sim Water Village where houses are built close to the water surface while observing the fascinating view of the sea and Puh Jih Syh Buddhist Temple which offers a panoramic view of Sandakan Bay situated on the hilltop of Tanah Merah.

• After the tour, transfer to the airport for your evening flight back to Kota Kinabalu.

Sukau Wildlife Safari Borneo DAY 1 • Meet at the Sandakan Airport before a transfer to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre and the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre.

This 3-day tour can be added on as a pre or post to any of our sailings that start or finish in Kota Kinabalu

• Transfer to the jetty in Sandakan and cruise up to the Lower Kinabatangan River Sanctuary for lunch at Abai Jungle Restaurant. Afterwards, cruise to Sukau village in search of primates, especially the Endemic Proboscis Monkeys, birds and other wildlife. Arrive Sukau, check in at Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge.

• Enjoy a cruise to Menanggul River. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge.

DAY 2 • Early morning take a river trip to Ox-bow Lake to observe the wildlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. Depart to visit Gomantong cave.

• Enjoy an afternoon river cruise to search for more wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge.

DAY 3

• After breakfast, transfer by boat back to Abai Jungle Restaurant to enjoy a cup of coffee.
