One of our Cruise Specialists, Kathy, set sail on a true bucket list voyage in the Arctic with AE Expeditions. Kathy set off to experience the very best of Svalbard and was absolutely thrilled to have this opportunity and couldn't wait to share her journey.

A Special Birthday to Remember Members of AE Expedition team, who have made countless journeys to the area will use their expertise to tailor your day-to-day itinerary and this led to Kathy's special birthday wildlife sighting. She said "we spotted a Polar Bear for the very first time at 00.08 on my birthday! What a birthday present.. then fellow passengers sang happy birthday to me in the midnight sun - what a surreal experience!" This sighting was possible thanks to the flexibility and freedom of the itinerary and lifestyle onboard.
