Day 1-2. Depart UK > Memphis
Fly from UK to Memphis where you transfer to your hotel for a complimentary overnight stay. The following morning embark your magnificent American Cruise Lines paddlewheeler river cruise ship for a sevennight Mississippi cruise to New Orleans.
Day 3. Cruising the Mississippi River
Bask in the warmth of the Mississippi River sun as we cruise from Memphis to Vicksburg. Relax in one of the many spacious lounges or enjoy a gentle breeze on the sun deck. There are a variety of activities scheduled on board when the ship is underway, which vary depending on the itinerary and scheduled date. Day 4. Vicksburg
The city of Vicksburg served as a pivotal turning point during the American Civil War. The expert guides and park rangers will take you to battlefields, the USS Cairo gunboat and the most significant historic places.Also on offer are excursions to the Biedenharn Coca-Cola Museum, the Old Depot Museum or the Old Courthouse Museum.
Day 5. Natchez
Settled in 1716, Natchez is rich in history and southern hospitality. Enjoy a guided exploration of this fascinating city which has retained its antebellum charm since its surrender during the Civil War. Visit Frogmore, a historic cotton plantation still in use today. Alternatively join an excursion to the Longwood mansion or Monmouth Historic inn & Gardens.

Located on the bluffs of the Mississippi River, St, Francisville has been described as one of the most beautiful small towns in America. Day 7. Baton Rouge

Day 8. Houmas House or Oak Alley
Houmas House and Gardens is a historic plantation complex established in the late 1700s, with the main house completed in 1840.
