The Star Clippers fleet comprises of the iconic sailing ships Royal Clipper, Star Flyer and Star Clipper. Designed to replicate a bygone era, stepping aboard truly feels like taking a step back in time. Modern cruising combines with the traditions and romance of the legendary 19th century era of sailing ships to create a truly unique experience.
Royal Clipper, inspired by the tall ship Preussen, has the proud distinction of being the largest and only five-masted full-rigged sailing ship built since her predecessor was launched at the beginning of the last century. Boasting a Marina Platform for watersports, as well as a spa and gym, this 227-guest capacity ship is a true example of nostalgic elegance.
Star Clipper and Star Flyer are four-masted barquentines, each holding 166 guests. At just 115m long, these ships are designed to reach smaller ports of call largely untouched by other cruise ships.
Each ship features open-seating dining in an elegantly appointed dining room, a Tropical Bar, Piano Lounge, and library, as well as the opportunity to take part in complimentary watersports. The open decks allow a front row seat to the spectacle of sailaway - guests can even get involved with climbing the mast, laying on the bowsprit nets and visiting the Bridge.
