IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) is the world-recognized authoritative international standard and conformity assessment for all electrical, electronic, and related technologies. Currently, it has 53 member countries, including Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, and China. All European countries adopt this testing standard.
IEC 61591 is the 'Range hood performance testing method' specified by IEC. All Fotile range hoods' airflow and noise indicators are tested according to this standard (The corresponding noise testing standard is IEC60704)
