North Dakota LIVING is the monthly statewide magazine published by the member organizations of the North Dakota Association of Telecommunications Cooperatives (NDAREC). These local cooperative organizations are responsible for providing dependable, affordable electric power to about 140,000 homes, farms and businesses all across North Dakota. Fourteen of the NDAREC member cooperatives send North Dakota LIVING to as many as 90,000 of these consumers. North Dakota LIVING contains articles that advance positions of NDAREC, along with a localized center section containing news from each sponsoring cooperative for just members of that cooperative. In addition, North Dakota LIVING publishes material of interest to residents of the state, with subjects including human interest, health care, family matters, education, government, history and community life.
