“Mmmm. Twice a week or less. Mmmm.”

Water Your Lawn Just Twice A Week Or Less.

Y

our lawn needs less water than you think. Even in a Texas August, watering twice a week or less gives your lawn all the water it needs. EASY DOES IT. Most people water too much. Way too much. That not only wastes water, it’s bad for your lawn. Thorough, infrequent watering promotes deeper roots which produces a stronger, healthier lawn.

MMMM. MULCH. MULCH. MULCH. A nice 3-4 inch layer of mulch around your shrubs, trees and in flowerbeds helps retain moisture and limits weed growth. Plus, mulched beds make any landscape look better. Just ask your shrubs. Think you have what it takes to whisper to your lawn? Visit SAVENORTHTEXASWATER.COM.

Save Water. Nothing Can Replace It. 2

into the less balmy days of autumn in the Lone Star State.

a cold brew in the other, plus fireworks ending every winning home game – how American can you get?

Get pampered Did you know a key element in helping us relax and feel better is to be touched? So consider being pampered by a professional to be part of your happy human duty. Studies show frequency of spa use is linked to better physical and mental health and who doesn’t need some extra happy in the hot summer months?

Watermelon binge Farmers markets are all over Tarrant County, plus grocers like Central Market have large selections of fresh and organic produce. This time of year, stock up on watermelon – the summer staple contains a significant amount of water that can thin the blood and help your body to release heat.

Retail therapy Researchers have found that shop therapy not only works to improve moods because of the delight in receiving self-gifts, but also if you chose not to buy something, the restraint you show yourself actually boosts your mood proving perhaps restraint was the goal to make yourself feel better. So hang out in the shopping havens of West 7th Street, Arlington Highlands, Southlake Townsquare or one of the many other shopping meccas around town, stop in that mom-and-pop boutique and enjoy.
