Summer may be winding down, but lucky for North Fort Worth residents, it always feels like summer at downtown Keller’s Bronson Rock Wood-fired Grill and Bar, where you can wash down a juicy burger with a cold margarita while enjoying live music pretty much all year long.

In addition to a draught selection that covers all the bases, the bar at Bronson Rock offers a few house cocktails and a variety of unexpected frozen margarita flavors. We did not opt for any of the odder flavors like the Italian (flavored with Amaretto) or Peachy Keen (with Peach Schnapps thrown in), but the Spanish Margarita, a frozen marg mixed with sangria (not a

new concept) was delicious, refreshing, and plenty potent. It was the perfect accompaniment to the heavy meal.

The interior is fairly small – a handful of high tops and booths, but the real draw is the huge outdoor patio. While it was sweltering outside during our visit, the patio had plenty of fans blowing cool air and it’s clear the outdoor space makes for a great live music venue that hosts some of the area’s most popular performers – from cover bands and acoustic duos to hip hop and dance bands, making it one of the liveliest nightspots in Keller and the North Tarrant area as a whole.

grill fare. Dominated by burgers, with a few sandwiches and uninventive salads also available, it does feature several meat-free appetizers, and there is a veggie burger option for non-carnivores that can also be substituted for a Portobello mushroom – pretty rare in Texas.

For starters, Bronson Rock offers a small variety of the usual bar snacks – chips and Restaurant queso, wings and nachos. We chose the potato Spotlight skins, which were crispy on the outside with piping hot cheese and bacon piled on top, but they were a bit pricey at $10.29.

Since it was half-price wood-fired burger 250 S. Main St. day (as it is from 11 am – 3 pm Wednesday through Friday and all day Tuesday), my guest Keller and I each ordered one. The Alliance Town Center Sunstone Yoga is also a new addition to North Fort Worth’s fitness community, with its grand opening being held on August 17.
