Guide to Education

TCC: Success Within Reach Y

our college wish list might include a nationally recognized institution with affordable tuition, diverse programs, flexible schedules and a convenient location. Some colleges may offer a few of these, but TCC delivers them all. Consider that: q TCC consists of five campuses, conveniently located in Fort Worth, Hurst and Arlington, as well as comprehensive online programs. Students of all ages and backgrounds can earn the credentials they need for a rewarding future. Whether you are seeking college credit courses, business/industrial training or personal enrichment, TCC offers the programs you need to reach your idea of success. TCC is regionally accredited, meaning core curriculum credits transfer easily to most four-year colleges. q TCC is the sixth-largest college or university in Texas, and the 15th-largest in the nation, yet maintains a 26:1 student-to-professor ratio. Students have access to award-winning faculty and programs consistently recognized among the best in the nation. TCC offers more than 70 fields of study and dozens of extracurricular clubs and associations from which to choose.

q Don’t want to pay big university prices to get the basics under your belt? The average cost for students enrolled in 15 credit hours at TCC is $825, compared to $3,400 – $17,300 at other local schools. Students often change majors in their first two years, but TCC eliminates the fear of sacrificing thousands in additional tuition dollars for students who change their course of study. No matter your age or challenges, success is within reach at TCC. Visit www.tccd.edu to explore the opportunities TCC can provide.
