THESE DISNEY BOOKS HAVE A NEW DESTINY
A SERIES OF “WHAT IF?” STORIES GIVES THE BACKSTORY BEHIND MAJOR VILLAINS AND AN ALTERNATE TIMELINE OF EVENTS IN THEIR LIVES
There’s a new section at the library! The Disney-oriented area contains the backstory of villains, original stories, and time warps! If you want to know more about the alternate timelines some stories could’ve had, then this is the place!
Some of these are a must read. If you couldn’t tell from when I talked about it earlier, the ones with alternate endings are my favorites. Make sure to ask about them, and read them to find your favorites. -------------------
THIS IS MY AMERICA
Every week, seventeen-year-old Tracy Beaumont writes letters to Innocence X, asking the organization to help her father, an innocent Black man on death row. After seven years, Tracy is running out of time—her dad has only 267 days left. Then the unthinkable happens. The police arrive in the night, and Tracy’s older brother, Jamal, goes from being a bright, promising track star to a “thug” on the run, accused of killing a white girl.

SAINT DEATH

Anapra is one of the poorest neighbourhoods in the Mexican city of Juarez - twenty metres outside town lies a fence, and beyond it, America - the dangerous goal of many a migrant. Faustino is one such trying to escape from the gang he’s been working for. He’s dipped into a pile of dollars he was supposed to be hiding and now he’s on the run. He and his friend, Arturo, have only 36 hours to replace the missing money, or they’re as good as dead.

KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON
In the 1920s, the richest people per capita in the world were members of the Osage Indian nation in Oklahoma. After oil was discovered beneath their land, they rode in chauffeured automobiles, built mansions, and sent their children to study in Europe. Then, one by one, the Osage began to be killed off. The family of an Osage woman, Mollie Burkhart, became a prime target. Her relatives were shot and poisoned. And it was just the beginning, as more and more members of the tribe began to die under mysterious circumstances.
