Also learn how to sea kayak in the comfort of a heated pool on base, and then go on guided trips with the outdoor rec staff in the South Sound. You’ll stay warm in a neoprene suit from head to toe! Learn a new hobby

Grab a friend or spouse and sign up for learning a new hobby with the outdoor recreation photography expert outdoors or in a classroom. Learn time-lapse photography, nature photography at Olympic National Park or taking a basic Photography 101 class. Choose from classes in basic sculpture, glass mosaic, framing, quilting, knitting, sewing, book binding, basket weaving, canvas painting, drawing and Zentangle. The fresh new look and brandnew menu feature a huge salad bar full of healthy and tasty items along with the soup of the day, plus a new pasta bar.
