This summer, the new Forte Village Forte Arena of the Forte Village provides event organizers the perfect venue for up to 5000 participants to enjoy these game-changing occasions. Imagine the atmosphere in the open air theatre under the stars set at the foot of the mountains of Capoterra, immersed in the unspoiled Mediterranean macchia near the Forte Village Leisureland. The classic oval arena is bordered by a perimeter of tall stone-like pillars which stand to attention, reminiscent of the great Roman amphitheaters and perhaps a reminder of ancient Sardinian civilization. Within, the seating area for 5000 participants is divided crosswise into 2 blocks of 2,500 moveable seats each in front of a huge 800 sq.m. stage ideal for the most complex performances such as music concerts, summer programs from the Lyric Theatre of Cagliari, contemporary opera and ballet. There is also an exclusive lounge bar. Like the Roman amphitheaters, the sun sets behind the audience. The distinctive pillars provide wind baffles and anchor the high-tech sound and lighting infrastructure to deliver high quality sound and lighting quality throughout the arena.
