Hello and welcome to our latest issue of LKN Magazine! As we dive into summer, there is so much to celebrate this month, I am thrilled to share some highlights with you.

I’ll start by introducing you to my mom! She is such an amazing person inside and out! While that is me pushing her on the swing, she has always been the one pushing me! She’s my biggest cheerleader, and supporter no matter what my latest idea may be! She’s a mover and a shaker, and the busiest person I know… yet she will always make time for the needs of others above her own. In fact, she plays a crucial role in our magazine’s distribution, along with my stepdad. We entrust them with some of our most important and fast-moving spots, and their hard work and dedication are truly appreciated. My sweet mama is well-known for her smile, her love for God, family, friends, neighbors, and the community. Happy Mother’s Day, Mom! I love you!

I can’t help but reminisce about my dad, who played a significant role in the distribution of Forsyth Woman and Forsyth Family for over 12 years. He took his job seriously and made many friends along the way. Although he is no longer with us, I know he’s cheering our team on from heaven and wishing he could be here to help.

In this issue, we’re excited to feature TINY HOMES OF LAKE NORMAN , a unique concept that offers a one-of-a-kind experience. With more time to enjoy the outdoors and less time spent cleaning the inside, tiny homes are becoming increasingly popular. Be sure to schedule a tour and learn more from their story on page 28

Our foodie review for May is THE FOUNDRY AT TWIN MILLS CLUB in Trilogy, a place that holds a special place in my heart as my mom and stepdad live there. I can never resist indulging in their Millionaire Burger or Stir Fry—both bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. And if you have a sweet tooth, you must try their amazing Croissant Bread Pudding—it’s simply divine! Trust me, once you discover The Foundry, it will become a regular on your list of must-visit restaurants. Check out the full foodie review on page 44 to learn more about their delectable offerings and unique ambiance that make dining at The Foundry a truly memorable experience.
