A Boost of Sunshine:
Sunshine Sparkling Energy Waters

BY DENISE HEIDEL
Welcome to 2021—a new year and a new opportunity to make healthy living a priority! But, for many moms, healthy living slips to the back burner. It’s easy to forget to take care of ourselves. We’re busy running kids around instead…juggling family schedules…fixing meals…doing the laundry…helping with homework, and maybe even homeschooling! Parents have their hands full with crazy kid schedules, which doesn’t even include all the responsibilities we have between full-time jobs and volunteering!
If that hasn’t left you feeling tired, we look at these children who have so much energy and wonder—“if I could just bottle and sell their energy, that would make me a millionaire.” But, then, we sigh, remind them not to hit their sister, and we reach for our coffee, wondering if there’s a healthier option to all those mocha lattes we count on to keeping us going.
Good news: there is!

Sunshine Beverages is a local business making a big splash in the better-for-you energy drink market. And, beyond their signature line of energy drinks, they also offer tasty and refreshing sparkling energy waters. Marketing Director, Beth Hathcock, shared, “We know busy moms are burning the candle at both ends. We have your back, though. Our Sunshine Sparkling Energy Waters come in three flavors—Citrus Lime, Lotus Pear, and Pomegranate Acai. The sparkling energy waters are zero sugar and zero calories, and they offer the much-needed energy boost to keep us going, so we can keep up with all the demands on our time. WIN!” Beth said, “Busy moms deserve a treat of their own. They take care of everyone else, but they need the energy to take care of themselves, too. After all, burnout is a real thing, and self-care is not optional—it’s essential. We are proud to be a local Winston-Salem company which provides a beverage with daily vitamins, essential electrolytes, and just enough natural caffeine to deliver the perfect boost to brighten the day! Each can sparkles with 100% daily value of vitamins A through E and calcium, magnesium, and potassium, the essential electrolytes, to fuel everyday activities to keep you feeling your best.” “Most importantly,” Beth continued, “Sunshine Sparkling Energy Water is not overloaded with caffeine. One 12-ounce can contains 70 milligrams of natural caffeine, sourced from organic green coffee beans to keep you focused and alert. That’s no more caffeine than a cup of coffee!” As we enter a new year, this is a great time to make Sunshine sparkling energy water a part of your daily self-care.
