we experienced incredible, exponential growth. This growth came just at the right time, since it coincided with America’s foster care crisis escalating to new levels of need. On the back-end of a global pandemic, a sluggish economy, and rising inflation, the number of America’s children in the welfare system rose to over four million. Inside of that four million is a staggering 410,000 who are currently in the foster care system, 23,000 of whom will be aging out without substantial support.

Several years ago, when head coach Hugh Freeze launched our first athletic team partnership, he envisioned that his players and leaders would not only make an immediate impact for those affected by the foster care system, but would also be a model for other teams to follow. In 2022, For Others partnered with teams from both the ACC and the SEC, as well as Liberty University, to be for others.

UKRAINE In 2022, For Others donated over half a million dollars to aid vulnerable children affected by the war. From much needed food and supplies, to life-saving medical treatments, our collective generously gave in a moment of devastation and need, to be for others.
Although we have over 100 grant-receiving partners, six are considered our ‘Pillar Partners’. Chosen, one of those Pillar Partners, is based out of San Antonio, Texas. Chosen helps children heal from abuse and neglect by equipping parents with life-changing tools to overcome the hurt so families can thrive.
ROE V. WADE “I remember the first time I talked with [Chosen]. I literally called from the side of the road because I was still homeless. In the time we worked together, I got an apartment, a job, had my child returned home and my CPS case closed...The work we have done together increased my success rate in life tremendously and my self-worth. I never once felt judged. I felt that someone was coming alongside me.”
In 2022, we invested an additional $75,000 into our Pillar Partner, Lifeline Children’s Services, towards the Worthy project. This whole-life project serves those whose lives are affected by the overturning of Roe v. Wade by providing life-affirming options to women experiencing unplanned pregnancies.
