Ms. Payne’s Resource Tip
“Every day, regardless of what is going on around me, I will see a cadet from the Middle School, and a smile immediately follows. As a group, they take the “military” aspects of Fork Union Military Academy very seriously, yet none takes anything too seriously. We are blessed indeed to have these young men on our campus. We are making every effort to ensure our Middle School is “full” next year, and anticipate beginning the 2014-2015 school year with at least 90 MS students. We are confident we’ll meet this goal. I plan to spend as much time as possible over the Christmas Break with family…and particularly look forward to giving many books and toys to my grandchildren, and having long conversations with my mother. This is a time to count our many blessings, and to acknowledge that those blessings are gifts from God. One of his many gifts to us was his son Jesus, which makes it easy to celebrate this season of giving. Merry Christmas!” Best regards, J. Headmaster’s Message As we prepare for the hustle and bustle of the upcoming Christmas season, I encourage us all to take time out of our busy schedules to remember the true “Reason for the Season.” Jesus Christ, God’s perfect gift to us, is our reason to celebrate. During this season of gift giving and receiving, may we be truly thankful for the greatest gift of all. On behalf of the Middle School faculty and staff, I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!
