The Dive Team practices are in conjunction with the Swim Team practices. They are scheduled so that children can participate on both the dive and the swim teams. Prior to each meet, the coach will post a roster of divers on the diving bulletin board. Your child may not dive at every meet so be sure to read the posting before each meet. Diving meets are held prior to swim meets and begin at 5:00 pm. Divers should arrive at 4:30 pm.

The coach would like to know, in writing, the dates that your children will not be available to participate in a dive meet. It is a good idea to provide this information to him at the beginning of the season. Giving the coach as much notice as possible will ensure that everyone on the team gets the most possible dive time.

Every effort is made to dive a meet as scheduled, given the short length of our season. The start of a meet may be delayed but rarely are dive meets canceled. Normally, a meet would only be canceled if lightning was present at the hosting pool. In the event of inclement weather, the coaches will not decide to cancel a meet until 7:00 pm. If a meet has been canceled, a blast email will be delivered to the entire swim team.

The end-of-season Conference Meet is held the last Friday of the dive team season, which will be held on Friday, July 7th.

The Swim & Dive Team Banquet is held at Forest Hills the Wednesday after all the conference meets, which will be on Wednesday, July 12th. At the banquet, the coaches will give a presentation and present team awards. After the awards are given out, there will be dancing to a DJ. This is a fun evening for both parents and children who participated in the Dive Team Program. Be sure to make reservations to attend.
