NEIGHBORLY FUN Twenty-five Bella Vida (BV) VIPs, whose last names start with I–P, gathered for a fun social at the BV Information Center.

VIP Pete Perille shared, “I always enjoy these events because I love getting to know my future neighbors and am always excited to hear updates. If I miss a few of these, I start to go through BV withdrawals!”

Women’s History Month is a great time to recognize the impact of women in aging services. I've been blessed to have fantastic female mentors and teammates throughout my career. In my current role, I’m surrounded by a capable and effective sales team made up of Sally Casey, Jodi Biewen, Tamara Stroike as well as an award-winning Personalization and Move-In Coordinator, Rachel McGowan. Throughout every department and role, senior living is made better by the presence and leadership of dedicated women like these.

BELLA VIDA CONSTRUCTION UPDATE Construction progress at Bella Vida is bringing the senior living community to life. Throughout this month, installation of water, sanitary sewer, storm, electrical and low-voltage infrastructure continues throughout the community. Metal framing of the Independent Living Building has also begun.

BELLA VIDA VIP UPDATES: BAGELS AND BITES WITH BROOKS This month, Bella Vida hosted two informational sessions to share the latest community updates, including move-in timelines, with future residents. Thirty-three VIPs attended the morning session, followed by 23 VIPs in the afternoon. Read more.

FLF RAISING FUNDS FOR ADULT DAY STAY PROGRAM Presbyterian Village North (PVN), in partnership with the Forefront Living Foundation (FLF), is establishing an Adult Day Stay program for aging adults with neurodegenerative disorders. Program fundraising is underway, with a lead gift of $300K already secured by the FLF. Read more.

A PATH TO PURPOSE WITH ISAIAH STANBACK AND DAVID VOBORA The Forefront Living Foundation Spring Advisory Council gathering, hosted at the Marnie and Kern Wildenthal Education Center, featured a live audience podcast recording of At the Forefront with special guests Isaiah Stanback and David Vobora.

COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS ON PLANNED GIVING Residents across Forefront Living’s (FL) three operating senior living communities, The Outlook at Windhaven, Presbyterian Village North and St. Joseph Village, attended a series of joint presentations hosted by the Forefront Living Foundation (FLF) and investment partner, Glenmede, which serves as

the FLF’s Outsourced Chief Investment Officer managing the organization’s investments. The presentations gave residents a look at how intentional giving can align with their personal values while supporting the causes that matter most to them.

FAITH KIDS SPARKS HEALING AND JOY On a crisp March evening, the doors of Forefront Living opened to welcome 19 children and 13 parents for Faith Kids. Faith Kids is a free monthly support group funded by the Forefront Living Foundation for children ages 3-18 who have lost a close loved one.

CELEBRATING ONE YEAR OF OAW THERAPY On March 11, The Outlook at Windhaven (OAW) Therapy Department celebrated its one-year anniversary. What began with blueprints and hard hats during the community’s construction has grown into a busy area where residents come to regain strength and improve mobility.

OAW PRESENTS: THE GALLERY EVENT The Outlook at Windhaven (OAW) hosted a gallery-style afternoon featuring the work of local Plano artist, Kelly Steller Hrad. Her colorful, abstract oil paintings were displayed throughout The Hall, allowing attendees to walk through the exhibit, talk

with the artist and take a close look at the texture in her work. Kelly’s connection to the OAW community came through resident and arts patron, Bob Drotman, and Suzy Jones, Executive Director of the ArtCentre of Plano.

RESIDENTS EXPERIENCE MYSTÈRE AT COSM On a recent afternoon, a group of residents from The Outlook at Windhaven (OAW) settled in for an unforgettable journey beneath the big top without ever leaving North Texas.

About 14 residents traveled approximately five miles from home to take in Cosm Dallas, an immersive entertainment venue that blends cutting-edge technology with storytelling.

PVN ASSISTED LIVING IN ACTION This past month, creativity, music and festive cheer filled the halls of Presbyterian Village North (PVN) Assisted Living. Residents shared their stories through expressive collages, tapped along to cheerful ukulele tunes and got into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit by decorating festive tumblers.

PVN’S SHANNON RADFORD FEATURED IN BOLD JOURNEY At Presbyterian Village North (PVN), Shannon Radford is redefining what senior wellness can look like by blending movement, mindfulness and spiritual care into everyday life.

Drawing on two decades in senior fitness and her recent 200‑hour yoga teacher training, she has expanded yoga beyond exercise into a deeply holistic practice — one that supports strength, balance, emotional regulation and inner calm for residents ages 61 to 94. From Gentle Yoga Flow and restorative Yoga Nidra to sound baths, outdoor grounding and sensory wellness experiences across the continuum of care, her work reflects a simple but powerful belief: when seniors are met exactly where they are, wellness becomes not just accessible, but transformative. ROLLING THE DICE: CASINO NIGHT SPARKS EXCITEMENT AT PVN On March 26, Presbyterian Village North (PVN) was buzzing with energy for its annual Casino Night.

RED HAT CHATTERS BRING FRIENDSHIP AND PURPOSE TO SJV Once a month, a group of women at St. Joseph Village (SJV) gathers for lunch wearing bright red hats and even brighter smiles. Known as the Red Hat Chatters, the Assisted Living group has created a tradition that blends friendship, laughter and giving back. Read more.

A NEW LOOK ONLINE FOR SJV St. Joseph Village (SJV) recently updated its website with a refreshed look and layout that better reflects the community as it is today.

The new website provides easy navigation and presents information clearly, helping visitors find details about life at SJV, available services and the campus itself.

FOREFRONT LIVING ANNOUNCES KATIA XIONG AS SJV EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Forefront Living is pleased to announce that Katia Xiong has accepted the role of Executive Director at St. Joseph Village (SJV). In this position, Katia will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community, supporting residents, families and teammates while striving to achieve operational excellence and a strong, mission driven culture.

Presbyterian Village North Katia brings more than 15 (PVN) in Dallas. At PVN she years of leadership played a key role in experience in senior living.

CHEF RAUL SOLANO EXPANDS SJV CULINARY TALENT

Forefront Living is pleased to share that Chef Raul Solano expanded his role to serve as Interim Culinary Director at St. Joseph Village (SJV). Raul will manage the daily operations of the SJV Culinary Department, including supervising dining room activities during meal service, training and mentoring teammates and maintaining excellence in food service.
