CAMP ERIN DFW 2025: WHERE GRIEVING HEARTS FIND LIGHT, LAUGHTER AND LOVE

Camp Buckner, nestled in the scenic hills of Central Texas, served as the perfect setting for Faith Presbyterian Hospice’s (FPH) fourth annual Camp Erin DFW, a free, weekend-long bereavement camp offered in conjunction with FPH’s Child and Family Bereavement Program. Held this year from June 20–22, the Camp Erin DFW experience was made possible through the generous support of the Forefront Living Foundation, which raised funds to cover the camp’s $30K cost. On June 9, the Forefront Living Foundation honored the life and legacy of Charlotte Test, longtime friend and generous supporter of the organization, with a rededication of the Spiritual Care Center at the T. Boone Pickens Hospice Center. The space is now named The Charlotte and Don Test Spiritual Care Center. Read more. Watch video.

Raul Solano serves as Executive Chef and Food Service Director at the Mabee Foundation Café. In his role, he manages the Café culinary department and works to provide a nourishing and excellent dining experience for Faith Presbyterian Hospice patients and families. Read more.

MASSAGE THERAPISTS GATHER TO TRAIN IN END-OF-LIFE CARE

Twelve massage therapists from around the country recently gathered at Forefront Living's Marnie and Kern Wildenthal Education Center to complete a three-day course titled “Palliative Massage for People at the End of Life.” The course was coordinated by Faith Presbyterian Hospice Massage Therapist Cindy Spence. FAITHFUL WISH GLAM DAY FOR FPH PATIENT

Earlier this month Faith Presbyterian Hospice (FPH) teammates were able to grant a “Faithful Wish” for a patient in the T. Boone Pickens Hospice Center. She was treated to a glam day complete with hairstyling and a manicure! Click here to learn more about Faithful Wishes.
