Joyce Tarver

Joyce Tarver is a Registered Nurse (RN) for Faith Presbyterian Hospice, working in the Harold E. Simmons In-Patient Care Center at the T. Boone Pickens Hospice Center for the past nine months. In her role, she provides education, symptom management as well as emotional and spiritual support for patients and their loved ones. Read more.

At the T. Boone Pickens Hospice Center, visitors can enjoy a hot lunch prepared by Executive Chef Raul Solano and his talented team at the Mabee Foundation Café. Daily menus feature hot entrees, soup and sandwich specials, desserts and grab-and-go items. The Mabee Foundation Café is open Monday to Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

As one of Presbyterian Village North’s most requested speakers, Dr Frank Morris returned to the community to share a special presentation about Juneteenth. Recently established as a federal holiday, Juneteenth, celebrated on June 19, commemorates the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States.

IN THE PARK IN THE PARK

On a beautiful Friday in May, the Presbyterian Village North (PVN) Marketing team hosted a successful “Party in the Park” event, welcoming nearly 70 guests to PVN’s campus to explore our senior living community and provide an opportunity to picture themselves living in the village. The Marketing team, along with enthusiastic residents and dedicated PVN staff, greeted guests and answered questions about what makes PVN a wonderful place to call home. Read more.
