One of the UK’s most successful gym chains came to us with significant ambitions to become one of the big hitters in the UK’s booming padel scene. With the gym group keen to install allweather padel facilities at several locations over a short period of time, our design team created a bold, contemporary canopy structure that would suit the needs and dimensions of multiple sites. Doing this enabled the group to work to an ambitious UK-wide rollout plan in a cost effective way.

Padel facilities are a huge membership draw for gym groups and sports centres and even more so when they’re covered to become yearround facilities. Our expert design team worked closely with the team at Bannatynes to create a striking padel court canopy with contemporary aesthetics that would complement the health club’s look. Barrel-vaulted canopies stand at a generous 6.5m high to create a light-filled playing experience that will be replicated at Bannatyne sites across the UK.

The Base model This attractive entry-level structure enables you to benefit from our renowned build and service at an affordable price. With its trellis style arches, the base model is perfect for creating a light and welcoming community space, or for covering multiple courts on a bigger site.

The Developed model Ideal for clubs looking to create a premium environment, our developed model is unique to the padel court market. With rolled CHS beams that minimise the need for additional support, this padel court canopy offers a clean, contemporary aesthetic.

The Hybrid model Perfect for park environments or clubs that want their facilities to blend in with natural surroundings, the beautiful hybrid model features steel posts and timber trusses to blend robust functionality with a natural highend look.

STAGE 1

VISION Discuss your vision with one of our expert and friendly Technical Sales Managers. You can do this during one of the complimentary site visits we offer. This is your opportunity to chat through unique needs and considerations including green belt challenges and site size restrictions that our experienced team is used to overcoming with careful, considered designs.

STAGE 2

SURVEY & PROPOSAL Once you have commissioned us, our team will conduct a full site survey and use this to inform your structure’s design, quotation and project delivery schedule.

STAGE 3

DESIGN Our in-house drawing office works on everything from concept visualisation to material specification. Our expert designers are well versed in taking into account noise attenuation and light spill issues and work in close collaboration with your project teams, architects, building contractors and local authorities to make your life easy.

STAGE 4

MANUFACTURE All our steel structures are manufactured onsite in our factory in West Sussex so we can deliver your exact specifications on time, and on budget. Having everything manufactured and managed from a single site also helps to minimise the carbon footprint of your project for an easy sustainability win.

STAGE 5

INSTALLATION Our in-house logistics teams install your structure at a time that suits you.

All installation projects are conducted under the watchful eye of our Health & Safety Manager, with CHAS and SSIP accreditation demonstrating our commitment to the highest installation standards.

Haywards Heath Rugby Club came to us looking to enhance their club’s offer by making it a year-round one. So, we worked with leading padel provider, Smash Padel, to install three barrel-vaulted padel court canopies to create contemporary all-weather padel facilities that have injected new life into the club post rugby club season.

Wrexham Tennis Centre – the largest racquet centre in Wales – came to us looking to become the first club in North Wales to offer all-weather padel facilities. With no membership required to enjoy the club’s world class facilities we knew the canopies would need to be affordable but still offer our signature quality. Our solution?

Serving up growth for the next generation of racquet clubs Many traditional racquet clubs have struggled to attract new members in recent years, but padel’s popularity is reinvigorating racquet sport interest and delivering members and momentum.

West Worthing Tennis Club had been overwhelmed by the popularity of their two new padel courts and were looking to make them even more valuable to club members by transforming them into year-round facilities. Two padel court canopies now cover the courts, with our unique mesh walls and Opal 60 roofing fabric, flooding the popular spaces with light, whilst shielding players from the worst of the British weather.

Nottingham Lawn Tennis Centre is one of the largest pay and play community tennis centres in the UK, with 40 tennis courts for public hire, including world-class grass courts.

The centre came to us looking to diversify play options with all-weather padel facilities, to attract an even wider clientele to the centre.

No vision too bold Our design team loves a challenge and over the last few years it has risen to the occasion to provide creative solutions to the unique issues posed by cramped city centre sites and sites designated as Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

East Grinstead Padel sits on a stunning site overlooking the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Players not only enjoy quality all-weather facilities – but some of the most beautiful views to be enjoyed anywhere in the country. We worked closely with the club and with local planning authorities to ensure that our new padel court canopies would enhance rather than detract from the beauty of the site.

The Pollen Club has rapidly made its mark as part of Manchester’s booming padel scene. Sitting in the heart of the city’s vibrant Deansgate quarter, the club sits alongside city landmarks like Harvey Nicholls. Our designers ensured that even though the club is surrounded by towering buildings, its two courts would be flooded with light thanks to our canopy’s elegant barrel-vaulted design and generous 6m eaves height.
