Over the Years, and timeframe, I done got a thick skin- Jazz DEVON

Ladychelle: It’s the one and only Devon & Jazz! My daughter loves you guys. Let everybody know who you are and where they know you from.

Jazz: So I’m Jasmine, everybody knows me from social media with of course Bae. We’ve been doing this for a while now. We started on Facebook and kind of just went from there.

Ladychelle: Is that something that started on purpose?

Jazz: Honestly, no, it was literally just like accident. Like, not accidentally, but, it just happened naturally. It wasn’t forced or anything. Bae can tell you cuz he was the one who started everything really.

Devon: Basically it was, a picture that went viral and then when the picture went viral, Facebook started going live, like around that time too. And then we started going live, we was like, all these people liking our pictures and our posts and stuff. We go live and see nobody tuned in, and then a whole bunch of people started tuning in from there. We just went from there and they were the ones who inspired us to start YouTube up.

Ladychelle: I love that. Now was it hard to step into a lane that not a lot of people believed in?

Devon: No. Not for me. Cause I always been like an outgoing person, so I always been the person that was down to do whatever. If it was a dollar, I was down to do it. So basically, no, not for me, but for Jazz, I mean it was kind of different for Jazz.

Jazz: I didn’t really care too, too much for it. But as we continue to keep going, it kind of just became, you know, natural and a part of our every day. But at first I wasn’t with it.

Ladychelle: You guys went through a lot, the audience have been able to see your ups and downs, your challenges. Is that hard having everybody in your game room?

Jazz: Well, for me, in the beginning it was very hard, but over the years, and timeframe I done, you know, got a thick skin. I never used to really, it used to break me down. Sometimes it used to irritate me cuz so many people was in tuned with what we were doing in our life, knowing our ins and outs, our whereabouts and et cetera. So it was kind of a lot for me sometime. But for Devon it was never really.

Devon: It wasn’t bad for me because I always been in the limelight. Even just in school and in the city. If I did something, it seemed everybody knew about it or if it was a problem everybody knew about it. So everybody always had opinions if it was in person or on the internet.

Ladychelle: As parents from a parents’ point of view. Just switching the gear real quick. Do you ever hesitate in including your daughter?

Jazz: I shielded her from basically, certain stuff, certain videos, if it don’t make sense, to put my daughter in it and it has nothing to do with her, then no, she’s not in it. But if she happens to, you know, walk in to like a video or something like that. But as far as us doing a daily vlog, she’s in it like no matter what. We even gave her her own YouTube channel and stuff. So now she just, she picks up a camera on her own and started vlogging and going around the house. And it’s not even recording, she just talking to the camera.

Devon: This is gonna be something she enjoys and this is gonna be her lame because she’s seen mommy and daddy do it for so long. But I don’t like sometimes, you gotta be careful with the internet cuz the internet is a lot.

Ladychelle: Now is there anything that the audience don’t get to see?

Devon: Well we got stuff that the internet don’t see for sure. Cause we don’t record every single day. And we don’t put everything on camera. So yeah, we got private stuff. Personally, I don’t feel like nobody gives the internet everything.

Ladychelle: I agree with that. Are you using this platform to do other things?

Devon: I’m down for whatever come with it. Long as it makes sense. If somebody wants us to sign us to a network and take our YouTube show onto a bigger platform, if it makes sense, I’ll do it.

Ladychelle: We love watching you guys, so I can’t wait to see what you guys got in store. Where can we follow you?

Jazz: When we have anything major, everything will be on YouTube.

Devon: Yeah, it’ll be mentioned in our video somewhere. You gotta watch the videos.
