What or who influenced your music career?

Life itself influenced my music career. All the things I go through positive or negative inspires me to pick up a pen & paper & write about it.

How many years have you been rapping?

I have been writing music for over 10yrs. I can honestly say wit every yr I progress tremendously with my lyrics & the various styles I'm able to spit.

What project(s) are you currently working on?

Right now we are currently pushing my single "Super Bad" which is getting heavy rotation on various internet stations as well as rotations on both major stations & Chicago. We're also getting ready to drop my follow up single "Wild Out" feat Waka Flocka Flame & Bo Deal.

Out of all of your songs, which one is the most personal?

I have a lot of personal music that's why I call my body of work "Reality Rap" but the most personal song out of my latest work is a song called "Life Will Drown You". On this song I talked about the lost of my uncle, the lost of the children me & my significant other had to deal with, the legal troubles my lil bro is dealing with, the drug addictions that killed my dad & step dad, my mom going thru rehab & my girl dealing with the death of her father. It’s a real touching but motivational song.

How would you describe your music?

I classify my music as "Reality Rap". Everything I rap about is so close to home it’s a reality to those who grew up in this lifestyle.

What motivates you to grind hard?

So tell me how did u get into DJ'n What motivated me to become a Disc Jockey was when I went to several nightclubs & liked the fact that the reason the crowd was enjoying themselves was due to the DJ's music selection, so I like providing what a crowd enjoys as far as music goes.

Is there any particular type of genre you love doing most? Honestly I'm a very huge music lover! I enjoy playing all kinds of music!

The list is huge Are there any drawbacks to this occupation? The main drawback is being able to please an entire crowd especially since everywhere I've done, the crowds have been diverse & not everybody has the same taste for the different kinds of music that are provided.

In 5 years where do you see yourself? In 5 years I see myself headlining@ many venues with a much bigger following & possibly doing venues outside of the area I'm currently in. (Ft.Myers) Is there anyone out there that you would like to work wit/absorb some knowledge from? Yes definitely DJ Quest, DJ 007, DJ Vinny Foo, & DJ Hitmann, oh & Selecta AJ. Apart from DJing you're also known in Ft Myers for another accomplishment. A year ago this month, you got to ask a question to a very important man in America! Tell us about this person, how you got to meet him and what your question was. I was honored with the opportunity to speak to the current president of the united states Barack Obama when he came to Ft.Myers fl for a town hall meeting regarding the current economic conditions. I noticed on television that residents of the area started camping out on the Sunday before the day of the event (Tuesday). One day before the event, tickets were distributed & I was given the last pair of tickets. Tuesday, the day of the event, President Barack Obama mentioned in his speech that he would pick residents to ask questions to him and I was chosen as the last resident

If I was granted another opportunity to ask President Barack Obama another question, I would ask him "what can we as Americans do to help the rightful laws pass to decrease the spending amounts?" The reason I would ask President Barack Obama this question is because with this tough economy it seems Americans want the government to do them the favors without them (Americans) pitching in to try to make good things happen.

Speaking of questions, if you we granted a wish to ask a question to anyone in the world, who would you choose and what would you ask? If I was granted a wish to ask a question to anyone in the world a question, I would choose Michael Jackson (R.I.P.) & I would him "what motivated you to be an amazing dancer in public?" I would ask him this question because I to this day wear his glove to all the nightclubs that I go to when I dance and I am amazed at how much he's been of an influence to me!

Having the honor of being able to speak to the most important man in America has made a huge difference in my life due to the fact I've met so many more people & have been complimented for my energy. As far as the DJ career goes it is the reason I was hired as a DJ at Neo Lounge (downtown Ft.Myers).

If you were invited to DJ at the White House for one of their Balls...Which Artists would be on your playlist?

If I was given the opportunity to DJ a Ball @ the white house the following artists would be on my playlist: Bruce Springsteen, Jay-Z, Eric B. & Rakim, Diddy, Usher, Common, Kanye West, John Legend, Frank Sinatra, Billy Joel, Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, Jimmy Buffet, and more.

Who was it with? What made it so memorable?

I loved "All I do is Win" because there were great times behind the scenes on that set. It was also cool to witness soo many different artists. I had seen the other artists before, but Snoop & Ludacris were a first for me. "Bedrock" was fun because it was a different concept compared to most videos. Most recently though I was cast for Diddy/ Dirty Money "I hate that you love me". This was memorable for me because it was with Diddy! This video did not go as planned & my scene was never even filmed, but the experience was cool. where would you ultimately like to take your career?

Ultimately I feel I belong on television and/or the big screen! Whether acting or TV show hosting, I'm not quite sure. Maybe both!

What is the best advice you could give a newcomer to this industry?

Respect yourself, be confident, do not get discouraged and NETWORK! What got you into modeling?

No hesitation. Ralph Lauren. I'd love to book a Ralph Lauren Ad. I love everything about their line. I've been wearing their clothes all my life so to model for them would be an honor.

Who have you modeled for so far?

Nick Every, The Speak, Nuzie' Clothing.

What is your ultimate goal for your modeling career?

Being a role model. I'm a model by title but I want to be looked at as a role model by actions. I would love to inspire people who don't believe they can model to do so just like the ones before me did.

Hobbies Interest?

I love cooking and baking those are my favorite hobbies. I love to read also. Inspirational books such as "Think and Grow Rich."

What do you look for in a mate?

Maturity is the most important thing.

What is a dream date for you? A boat ride. Where its us on a boat alone clear waters and good conversation is something money can't buy.

Cherrie Garden

While growing up in the beautiful island of Jamaica, Cherrie Garden aspired to be a doctor for all of her teenage years, but secretly she’d always had a hidden desire to be the next host on BET’s 106 & Park. Her mother introduced her to runway modeling at 14 years old, but had her doing thematic Photo shoots from the age of 3.

After getting her first taste of the runway, she wanted more and would model formalwear and wedding attire faithfully every year in the Annual Wedding Extravaganza held at the Pegasus Hotel in New Kingston.

After graduating Immaculate Conception High School in Jamaica she attended Berkshire School in She ff iel d, M as sac h usett s.

Throughout her years at Berkshire she specialized in the performing arts of Dance and Theater where she developed a true passion for the stage.

Being accepted into Emory University brought her to Atlanta, Georgia where she studied Biology and English as majors, Spanish minor on a Pre-Med track. She also taught traditional and contemporary Jamaican dance as an extracurricular. While at Emory, Cherrie G. began to feel the call of the catwalk again. She decided to pursue her dreams of modeling, hosting and acting more fervently and make them a reality.

What is the most attractive trait to you in a woman? A combination of ambition, morals, integrity, honesty and humor.

What part of a woman's body attracts you the most? Tough question. Women are beautiful creatures, but I'm gonna have to go with the eyes. When you first meet someone that's how the "fireworks" begin. You know that saying, "the eyes are the windows to the soul..."

Reminds me of a special lady I met, I still remember when I gazed into her beautiful green eyes for the first time, I was lost in them and every time since- all I see are "fireworks..."

How did you first get into modeling?

Two summers ago I worked on the feature film, Just Wright. While shooting all summer I became good friends with actor/model Mehcad Brooks. We hung out a lot after the film wrapped, and one night we were enjoying the NYC night life and he put the bug in my ear. Ever since that night everything has been falling into place for me.

What is your ultimate goal for your career?

To become a full time relevant Actor and model. Once that is established, sky's the limit.

If you could be an underwear model for one of the big brands, who would it be?

Def has to be Sean John.

They are a reputable clothing company. Anything Mr. Combs put his hands on or affiliates his name with turns into gold. They also represent the best of both worlds, a fusion of urban and upscale attire.

Any funny stories from the profession?

One of my favorite photos we like to call "the one" shot by Ms. Desi Adorn was the funniest experience taking photos.

The concept was to photograph water bouncing off of my chest. To make a long story short, water hurts! Two people stood next to me and threw buckets of water at me, 10 refills later we finally got the shot. Once we all saw the image, we all said, that's the one.

What is it about modeling that draws you to it?

Modeling is fun. Not only do clients pay you to represent and wear their merchandise, but models inspire people to buy merchandise because they saw the model wearing it.

If you weren't modeling what do you think you would be doing?

Teaching, I love working with kids. They are the future. It's an amazing feeling to be able to help and affect a child's life/ future.

My first tat, I was 10 when i thought about it I was thinking “ima get so many tattoos". That was my 1st dream, really. Then when I was 12, my brother died.

We had the same initials so I was 12 and the most tatted dude in school! Lol, it was the coolest thing ever!

Most of my tats i drew myself..it took me about 4-6 years to finish my arm..

Seeing that I'm a tattoo artist, I don't have much time to get tatted...I love my clients to death so to choose between doing tats and getting tats, I cant really say..

Chino I got my first tattoo at my boy’s crib. It was my momma's name. We had a lil tattoo party and I didn't know what to get, so I got my mom's name.

I was about 16.

The rest of my tattoos : I got my last name in my inner arm, I got tears on my fingers so if you put em to my face, looks like I'm crying.

And you put em near my mouth, looks like I'm drooling.

Tattoos tell a story ,it tells something about yourself.

Axely Sepulveda: Being a hairstylist is very fulfilling to me.

There are so many girls that grow up with low self esteem but the creativity that enthralls me enables me to change that! I've always had an aptness for doing updos and I know it made my mother proud when I joined and graduated Sunstate Academy. I hadn't quite gone in any certain direction with my education after graduating when I was asked if I wanted to join The Mosaic Group. Their vision enticed me and I jumped on board. Being a hairstylist for a fashion show is fun for me. The models are like my canvas, and having people appreciate my art is very rewarding for me.



Bethany Butler: is one of the youngest Stylists in The Mosaic group. She postponed her dance career to pursue the Cosmetology dream she always wanted.

So she enrolled in Sunstate Academy in July 2009 and never looked back. Once she was in Sunstate Academy her creativity broke loose. Just in the first 6 weeks she won the fantasy competition and after that she won the Bridal Competition. Bethany was chosen to compete at the Premiere Hair Show in Orlando. The coordinator of The Mosaic Group came to Bethany to invite her into TMG. Bethany was excited and her brain went crazy with ideas. Being in TMG has inspired Bethany continue being involved in photo shoots ,and fashion shows as well as being apart of Glam Squad of Ft. Myers ,Fl. Bethany's creativity never stops flowing and her ideas are continuously coming to life.



Frenishya Johnson: I always had a love for hair and began to share my talent at the age of 9. I am a recent graduate of Sunstate Academy in Fort Myers FL and I decided now would be the best time to be my own boss. Today I am following my dreams and showcasing my talent along the way at Salon Believe in Cape Coral Fl. I became a part of The Mosaic Group to showcase my work, have free reign over my talent and to help give back to the community, we firmly believe and agree in charities not to mention assisting in any way possible. I look forward to the New Year with much anticipation in regards to the upcoming shows and benefits we will be a part of.



Joe Hall: I became a cosmetologist following the footsteps of my grandmother and mother. I find hair design and makeup artistry to be another way to express my creative energy. I also dabble in fashion design. I find it very rewarding to make the client/model a work of beauty. In the future I look forward to participating with our group of talented individuals in the Mosaic Group at our upcoming events and broadening my depth of creative expression and giving back to the community.



Praveenta D. Singh: Since high School I wanted to attend "beauty" school but followed my parent’s foot steps and hold my Associates in Medical Administration and my Bachelors in Marketing and Finance. Two years ago I decided no time like the present and enrolled into Sunstate Academy in Fort Myers, FL where I gained great respect for cosmetologists and barbers yet realized I wanted to do more than create the beauty of an individual.
