Taste of The Cotswolds Staying in One Place Walking Trail

“As first timers to the area we could not have been happier with your planning and communication. We have booked with other companies in different parts of the world but we would have to say your company has been outstanding in all areas. Adele

Welcome & Trail Story by Alison Howell We are thrilled to introduce to you our Taste of the Cotswolds walking trip. Over four days, take an enjoyable adventure into this stunning area of the Cotswolds, near the market town of Cirencester, the second largest town in Britain during Roman times. With our founders having strong family connections in the county, (Alison’s farming cousins and David’s –

parents), we know the Cotswolds inside out.

We’ve created spectacular and really varied trails here using this local knowledge. You will therefore be right in the heart of the ancient wool trade. Pretty with sand coloured stone cottages, churches and walls. Whilst some areas of the Cotswolds find themselves full with coaches and crowds of people, these Foot Trails take you off the beaten track. The walking is peaceful and the villages are quiet and authentic. We love the Cotswolds and we can’t wait to help you walk here and enjoy it too.

About your Foot Trail Taste of the Cotswolds is a brand new, Staying in One Place style walking experience. Enjoyed during 3 or 4 nights. With the extent of our local knowledge, every day is enjoyably different and a unique adventure in itself. Each trail has a lunch stop on route at a country pub or local eateries, so all you need is a light day sac. This style of walking enables you to explore this area of the Cotswolds deeply and then unwind and relax back at your personally chosen country inn. Take in the 2nd century Roman villa and be amazed by some of England’s best examples of mosaic floors. Explore the parish church in the market town of Cirencester, and its array of independent shops and walk through peaceful river valleys and wonderful Cotswolds stone villages.
