Leak Detection Control Strategy
Our stations are equipped with an advanced leak detection system. Sensors are strategically placed throughout the system, monitoring flows from the mains and through the water production stages. Alarm systems notify us remotely of any anomalies, allowing us to promptly address potential leaks. A new monitoring system, implemented from February 2024, boasts 45 sensors and controllers, providing enhanced accuracy and further remote control capabilities.
Water Temperature Control
Functioning flawlessly in any weather, our stations employ cutting-edge technology to ensure optimal performance. This includes innovative measures to prevent freezing of internal components, such as a discreet heating system within the delivery hose and a specialised heating system for the kiosk and nozzle. These advancements guarantee seamless operation, even in winter conditions.
Station Levelling
The stations are levelled during installation. This can be achieved using plastic packers, specialist levelling feet and pads, or a complete concrete pad, depending on the site and substrate we are installing onto.

Spotless Water have just installed a Water Station at The Ridings Shopping Centre in Wakefield which has been managed swiftly and professionally by the Spotless team.
Local businesses who have previously been travelling some 20 miles to obtain deionised water are now finding the location at The Ridings and the easy to use water station a huge benefit, saving time and effort, increasing their efficiency and saving travelling costs. It’s been described by one as a Godsend.
We are happy to explore other locations within our portfolio for Spotless Water.
How big is a station?
The stations are 11ft x 8ft, mirroring the footprint of a standard car parking space.
How many people will use it daily?
On average, we welcome 15-20 visits each day, with peak times occurring between 6-9 am. Thanks to our efficient, fast-fill pumps, the average fill time is 5 minutes.
Is planning permission required?
Typically, planning permission is not a requirement, but in cases where it is necessary, we will apply for it retrospectively.
How long is the contract?
Our contracts operate on a rolling basis, with a 6-month notice period for both parties.
Do I need permission from my landlord?
Yes, it s essential to obtain permission from your landlord if you re not the freeholder.
Do you supply RAMS before installation?
Yes, we supply a comprehensive installation pack that includes detailed information on all aspects, including the necessary Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS).
