Post-Brexit for Football
THE departure of the United Kingdom from the European Union has been a draining topic for all over the past four years – but now it is about to drastically hit opportunities for footballers in this country and on the continent.
Like all other industries, football has now had to draw up regulations to ensure overseas players in this country are legally allowed to work here – and those being introduced dramatically change the landscape.

No side in the Premier League or EFL will now be able to sign foreign players until the age of 18, which means if those regulations were in place at the time then Arsenal would never have been able to bring Cesc Fabregas into the club.
