MAESYCWMMER FC committee THOUGHTS

A lot of lessons have been learnt by the committee over a short period of time and plenty of mistake have been made however all the hard work has now paid off and we can’t wait to see the team on the field playing our first competitive football match! We are over the moon to see so many local lads have really worked hard this preseason to get fit and make a big effort for the season ahead! It gives me great pleasure to write my first programme notes as Chairman of Maesycwmmer FC. Having taken up the role in July this year, I am delighted to write this with the team currently building for the season ahead. Our first ever preseason has been challenging but very rewarding and the team’s commitment has been superb, and that’s a great credit to the manager, his players, coaches and to everyone who works so hard to make sure they are fully prepared for every game they go into.

I would also like to say a huge thank you to all our sponsors without their support this team would not have got off the ground. I would also like to thank our clubhouse hosts Dan and Emma at the Maesycwmmer inn for letting us base our team there, thank you for all your support.

The season ahead maybe challenging but I’m sure we will have plenty of laughs on the way. The comoradory around the squad, and the management team has been a breath of fresh air to all involved. I am so excited for the season ahead and we aim to can make this a special club for everyone to enjoy.

As a sponsor of the club, I am so excited for the season to get started, so much work as gone into it and making a club possible again. The chairman and all the committee have all worked extremely hard and the players during pre season, even if it didn't go our way.

But Pre Season is all about getting fitness and team bonding. I'm really excited to be apart of this amazing club and journey.

THOUGHTS

This league seems unpredictable and I'm all for it, seems like great laughs. Against Twyn-Yffald, it'll be a close game I think, but we will get the win. As a new club in our first competitive game, we will want to win and I hope we do that. I hope to come see a couple of games soon...
