Rev Boey Kok Yeow was formally introduced to Jesus and received Him as his Lord and Savior at the age of 17. Prior to full-ministry he was working in the IT industry. He served as a Local Ministry Staff with Hakka Methodist church before joining CAC as a pastor. He is currently serving in Paya Lebar Chinese Methodist Church.
He is married and has 3 children.
CAC SUNDAY SPEAKER FOR TODAY 9:45AM & 4PM
Rev Joseph Chen is currently the Assistant Pastor of Kum Yan Methodist Church, primarily serving in the Mandarin Congregation and Cantonese Congregation.
He is concurrently serving as one of the chaplains at ACS (Barker Road). He is married to Jinlin, and is a proud father of two, Josiah and Joanna.
The Methodist Church practices an itinerant system where pastors commit to serving in whichever church or ministry they are appointed to. CAC Sunday reminds us that our churches belong to one annual conference, that is, CAC!
The Special 2nd Offering collected this Sunday goes toward CAC’s Central Pooling Fund, which supports CAC’s pastoral, board and ministry expenses Please indicate “CS2025” during the offering. We appeal to the support and generosity of church members to give lovingly.
“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7).
May the Lord continue to use CAC and all of our churches for His mission of salvation to all who believe.

As part of the efforts to go Green, except for "Sunday offerings", e-receipts would be sent to your email or mobile phone registered with our church unless otherwise advised. No receipt would be issued for offerings indicated as "Sunday offerings" or collections that have no specific indication.
e-Receipts will be sent to you via the Church WhatsApp number. We assure members that such e-receipts are NOT sent as broadcast messages to the whole church.
1. Do you think the church should give each of its members a list of dos and don’ts to help them live out their Christian life? Why or why not?
2. According to Galatians 5:1, what does true freedom in Christ look like? In what ways do people today voluntarily submit again to a “yoke of slavery,” and how can we recognize it?
3. Galatians 5:13 warns us not to use our freedom to indulge the sinful nature. What are some subtle ways Christians might misuse spiritual freedom in everyday life?
4. Based on Galatians 5:16–18, why might a Christian use their freedom to gratify sinful desires? How can we ensure that we use our freedom to love and serve others, rather than indulge the flesh?
5. "What underlying attitudes or desires connect the 'acts of the flesh/sinful nature' listed in Galatians 5:19–21, and how do these behaviors affect one's relationship with God and the community?“
6. Which “fruit of the Spirit” (vv. 22–23) do you see most clearly in your life, and which ones do you struggle with? What do you think would help us cultivate these spiritual fruit consistently?

Discussion Questions - 9:45 am & 4:00 pm
1. Are we placing our hope in life on Jesus Christ, on what He has done for us on the Cross, or is it that we have placed our hope on something else?
2. Are we Living like the Holy One who called us, to devote 100% of our time, to say that we are “All In” to love Him, to spread his gospel through our holy life or have we given ourselves good reasons to stay lukewarm and carry on with our earthly life?
3. What are we investing ourselves in? Things of this World or things that have eternal value?
4. What must you do immediately to heed the call to live a holy life? SERMON NOTES Scripture: 1 Peter 1:13-21
