• Mdm Helen Cheng Shao Pin (Foochow Congregation), Clarence Ling's mother, went home to the Lord on 22 May 2025.
Our condolences and prayers be with the family during this time of loss.

Discussion Questions
1. Even though God has fulfilled the requirements of the law through Jesus’ death and has made us righteous (Rom 8:3-4) and called us his children (v14), sometimes we still function like servants. In what ways do you see yourself functioning like a servant rather than God’s child?
2. It is by living a life led by the Spirit that we become children of God. It is a process of maturing. In Gal 4: 1-2, the word “child” is used to describe an infant, while in vv.5-7, the word “sons” is used to describe a fully matured son.
Reflect and share your thoughts on this statement: “Salvation is living out our relationship with God that is constantly growing in faith and understanding until we attain maturity and perfection.”
3. The call of sonship is live a holy life, by the power of the Holy Spirit. This holiness is not just inward but lived out in outward, tangible actions. Only the Holy Spirit can teach us how to live so that we may reach that maturity of a son, so that God can use us for his Kingdom’s purposes.
