MEMORIAL SERVICE 2025
There will be a memorial service to remember members we have known and loved who have passed on during the last 12 months. It is a time where we gather with those who have been bereaved, to renew our trust and confidence in Christ.
The details of the memorial service are as follows:

All family members and friends of the above are invited to attend the memorial service. The Church Office will be inviting the families directly.
Due to limited parking space, we would advise participants to park outside of church.
OUTREACH & SOCIAL CONCERNS — VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
1. Tuition Teachers & Librarians
• Date: Fortnightly, Saturdays, 2:00–3:30pm
• Who: Teachers/helpers for English & Math (Pri 1–4) to plan and run revision sessions (workbooks provided)
• Also Needed: A Librarian during the same slot

2. Christmas @ Farrer Park RC
• Date: Saturday, 13 December 2025, from 4:30pm
• Venue: Blk 14 Farrer Park Road, Pavilion
• Roles:
• 10 youths/adults to staff game stalls
• 2–4 adults to distribute goodie bags
• Carollers, dance group, harmonica/erhu performers
• Everyone: Come, befriend, and bless our neighbours (usual crowd: 200–300)

Am going away again to Kochi Grace Church (KGC) from 27 Oct to mid Jan 2026. Do keep me in prayer as I return to visit Ps Saeki and Yuki -san, his wife . Probably the key word for this season is Hospitality!
– To renew friendships with church members, English class kids and their mothers/family
– That the apartment will be mightily used to host meals and create stronger connections/bonds Lots happening cos its the holidays & year end season!

Just found out I got one more health thingy called Intestinal Metaplasia in my tummy (after my recent endoscopy). Need to take 3 months of gastric pills before meals And then there’s also high cholesterol and fatty liver too! For a "Christmas" miracle of healing and peace of mind! .
This year, to mark MCS140 and SG60 Methodist Welfare Services is spearheading the social outreach themed “THE HEALING NATION” to demonstrate God’s love in healing spirit, mind, heart, and body through our acts of service and love.
35 hours to serve the community in 2025 and beyond
We hope to raise a total of 1.4 million Healing Hours, a collective force for doing good in charities and Methodist churches across the island.
$1,400 to help one family or individual heal
Let’s raise $1.4 million together to bless up to 1,000 families and individuals.
For Families experiencing Distress, by restoring of familial/ marital/ parenting relationships, alleviating debt burdens and addressing mental health issues
For individuals who are Chronically Sick and Homeless, by restoring dignity, improving quality of life and enhancing health outcomes.
The Healing Nation Celebratory Concert
Date: 1 November 2025, Saturday
For Youth and Children, including children with special needs, by addressing the impact of trauma, instilling hope and uplifting self-worth.
Venue: The Star Theatre, The Star Performing Arts Centre Time: 7.30pm
Music is the “language of the soul” with the power of reaching deep into our mind, heart and body. Spend a meaningful time connecting through music as friends, Singaporeans and a Methodist family.
