• Rev Seet Keng Tat, former retired pastor of CAC, served in FMC from 2020 to 2021, was called home to the Lord on 2 July 2023.

• Mdm Lim Sau Kum (Foochow Service), was called home to the Lord on 5 July 2023.

1. Based on the “Case of Betty”, the freed slave who chose to return to slavery, what would you do if you were Betty? Why do you think Betty chose to return with her owners? Ignorance? Fear? Contented with the present?
2. What were the false teachers teaching the Galatians in Galatians 4? Why do you think the Galatians found such teachings reasonable and convincing?
3. How often have you heard or witnessed or felt that Christians can be “legalists” in their faith? Any examples to share?
4. Have we ourselves been “legalistic” in how we live our lives in Christ? Have we too been legalistic in our interactions with others? What is the Holy Spirit telling us today? Pray and respond.
