1. In this sermon series of Ezra and Nehemiah, what is one major takeaway for you?
2. Based on what you have seen through Ezra and Nehemiah, the people of God had to go through periods of being convicted of their sin – to confession of their sin – to covenanting not to sin again. Why do you think this cycle kept repeating itself? Is it any different for us now?
3. In Nehemiah 10:30-39, list down which of the covenants were focused on: 1. the temple 2. the people and 3. the law.
4. How do you personally feel about the concluding statement of Nehemiah chapter 10? “We will not neglect the House of our God”? How does this speak to you in view of the sermon shared today?
