Sunday sermon
1) In John 9:4-5, what did Jesus ask the disciples to do whilst it is day? What implication is Jesus pointing out to his disciples when he said, “the night is coming?”
Keeping in mind what Jesus is calling us to do, how differently would you live today if there is no electricity to light up the nights?
2) How would being serious in living out your faith, being concerned about lost souls and being focused on God’s call for us to do God’s mission (that is the work of him who sent me spoken by Jesus in Jn.9:4), change the priorities in the way you live your life? What are some of the hindrances that could be preventing you from making those changes? What could be the reasons for such hindrances? Commit those hindrances to God in prayer.
3) The President challenges us to pray for personal revival. Think of one area in your life where you would want God to do his refining work of revival. Share it with a prayer partner to help you abide with God to allow God to change you.
