When Abraham Met God Genesis 17.1-14
1. The Covenant Remembered (1-2)
V1b “Serve me faithfully and live a blameless life.” NLT.
V1b “…walk before me, and be blameless.” ESV. God made this demand of Abram when He appeared to him.
Share your response to God if God were to demand this of you.
2. The Covenant Detailed (3-8)
As a parent, grandparent, uncle / aunty, what steps have been taken to claim salvation for the children / youth / (or older)?
In what way can the small group support their members’ efforts?
3. The Covenant Kept (9-14)
Matthew 26.27-28
Jesus established a New Covenant with His sacrifice on the cross.
Why did Jesus want His disciples to be constantly reminded of this when Communion is partaken?
