PRAYER SUPPORT FOR LOH MEI LIN (3-MONTH MISSION TRIP TO KOCHI GRACE CHURCH, JAPAN) JANUARY

Prayer Pointers
1. For Kochi Grace Church (KGC) in Shikoku, Japan
KGC is a small church with about 20 members physically attending church, pastored by Pastor Saeki and his wife, Yuki san. Those unable to attend will watch online. There has been a series of accidents and unexpected illness the past months.
• For KGC, her members and the community around it, that Holy Spirit will protect and provide for them despite the accidents/incidents.
• That members will continue to put their faith in God and await His blessings and miracles.
• That the church will be a testimony to the community around it.
2. For English Class - Outreach Program
• For wisdom to adapt and be flexible to adjust to changes
• To build a wonderful relationship to the children and mothers
3. Loh Mei Lin
• Housing: That the documentation process with the property agent there will be smooth
Moving in on 13 Jan and will stay 2 weeks in the church
• That I will be alert and prepared for whatever God has already planned
• That God will show me other areas of outreach opportunities (e.g. the Asakura Campus of the Kochi University, near where I will live)
• That God will download the Japanese language ability in my "old brain" aka the miracle of speaking in tongues!
• That I will have a wonderful relationship with Pastor Saeki and his wife, Yuki san, the church members and the community

1. Incarnation means "in-flesh-ment", signifying that Jesus took on flesh to become human like us. Why do you think he needed to do this? How do we benefit from Christ having lived as a human on this earth?

2. Christ also came in the flesh so that he could die in our place, for only a mortal can die. He was then raised bodily, with a renewed body, and this is our source of hope for a resurrection in him. Take a moment to think and meditate on Christ's incarnation. What comes to mind? What are you most thankful for?
3. During the Holy Communion ritual, the pastor prays, "Pour out your Holy Spirit on us gathered here, and on these gifts of bread and cup. Make them be for us the body and blood of Christ, that we may be for the world the body of Christ, redeemed by his blood." How can we be, "for the world, the body of Christ?"
