July–December 2024

&prayer praise

Dear Praying Friends:

Sometimes it’s hard to know how to pray for circumstances, events, and individuals. But we have the assurance that God knows the whole story and sees the big picture.

Here are some suggestions as to how to pray for our workers and friends around the world:

Pray for our Jewish friends to find comfort in the Messiah. Pray for wives and families at home as men travel. Ask God to help us always see people from His perspective. Let the Word of God come alive as the Good News is shared.

And if you really don’t know what or how to pray, remember:

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God (Romans 8:26–27).

If you’re praying for someone, let him or her know! It is such an encouragement to hear of someone praying for us. Thank you for praying.
