Fresh and Clean Carpets is a family run and operated business. We specialise in cleaning carpets, rugs and upholstery in the Port Macquarie and surrounding areas. We provide quality services for residential and commercial properties. We use the highest quality of cleaning products in our services and are constantly across industry developments.

What sets Fresh and Clean Carpets apart from other competitors in the industry?

Well, I believe that there is always benefit in working with family run and operated businesses. I always want to ensure that our customers are receiving a professional clean with a personalised and friendly experience to match.

We value our customers and aim to build ongoing working relationships for the future. Supporting local is something my wife and I endeavour to do wherever we can. We love our local community and want to support it in every way possible. Whether that be through choosing to shop with a local fashion retailer rather than opting for national brands online through to stocking our fridge with locally grown produce from farmers in our very own region.

Testimonies are incredibly important to us! They help us grow and develop as a small business as well as providing reliable feedback from our customers for our local community to see. It’s important to us as a small business that our customers can rely on the fact that not only will we provide a quality clean but that they also feel relaxed in who is cleaning their carpets in their home or offices.

MARINE SERVICES

Founders of family-owned business Shotgun Marine Services, Terry and Michele Nocelli have been together running their business for more than 30 years but lost almost all of their stock, tools and years of irreplaceable boating collectables in the floods.

Michele says the water came in hard and fast and was unlike anything she’s ever seen. “There was no time for preparation,” she says. “We were completely submerged by midnight.”

With so much to do before they could start rebuilding, Michele and Terry’s commitment to their customers saw them vow to be up and running as quickly as possible and they were back in business in a matter of weeks. Michele says while there are always challenges in business, they are busier than ever. “We’ve even now got the whole family working for us.”

COVID-19 has brought about some welcome changes for Michele and Terry’s business. “The pandemic has led to an increase in online purchases.” she says. “Seeing as people can’t travel as much, it seems Australians are spending their money on boats instead.”

Established in Port Macquarie more than 20 years ago, Shotgun Marine Services are marine electronic specialists who service all aspects of the boating industry. Since the flooding Shotgun Marine have risen above the adversity and have a new look workshop with new bigger bolder signage and an additional service vehicle. Business is booming which is a testament to Terry and his team’s dedication.
