Who were some of the businesses you worked with to help create your special day?

We tried to keep it very low key and do a lot of the work ourselves with help from our family. It was very important for us to support small local businesses, Ellen at EA Botanical (bouquet and arbour flowers), Brooke from Brooke Hudson Beauty Collective (makeup), Karina Hair and Makeup (hair) and Seed and Salt photography. Looking back, is there anything that you would do differently?

He would tell me that the view is something that you simply cannot explain and you have to go and see it for yourself. When we both organised to go and check it out the view and feel of the venue was absolutely breathtaking.

Talk to each other and figure out what is most important to each of you and invest your money into those things. Slow down and take your time, you will never live in this moment again.

It sounds so cliche but seeing each other for the first time at the ceremony was a moment that I will never forget. We also loved that it felt like one big family dinner and most of our guests got to stay and share the very special experience with us.
