Hakimian Holdings LLC intends to develop outparcels at two of its properties: Liberty Center in the Southpoint area and Merchants Walk in Mandarin. At Liberty Center at 7077 Bonneval Road, Hakimian Holdings proposes two buildings in the corners of its 7.2-acre property facing Butler Boulevard. One corner would be a 5,625-squarefoot, 100-seat, high-turnover, sitdown restaurant and the other would be a 5,600-square-foot office building. Liberty Center is a six-story, 118,734-square-foot office building that Jacksonville-based Hakimian bought in February 2016. At the time, President Ben Hakimian said he intended to develop two outparcels on the property and was negotiating with a national publicly traded upscale restaurant. The My Florida County system accepted online payment for civil traffic citations which are not past due, requesting copies of official records and

certain child support payments. The new E-Pay system, epay. duvalclerk.com, allows those transactions, plus traffic citation installment plan payments, court costs, and payment in full on late payments to avoid the account being turned over to a collection agency. “We’re always looking for ways to improve our service and help our customers meet their needs,” said Ronnie Fussell, Duval County clerk of courts. The credit card convenience fee for the E-Pay system is less than that charged by My Florida County, resulting in 1,235 cusE-Pay

By Max Marbut Associate Editor People need lawyers and lawyers need clients. Putting those two parties and their needs together is the concept behind the Jacksonville Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral Service. Established in 1995 as a separate corporate entity within the JBA, it’s one of 10 similar services offered by The Florida Bar and nine local Bar associations. Along with the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s LRS, it’s one of only two that are approved to meet standards for lawyer referral by the American Bar Association.
