The family submitted a request to the city to rezone the property at southeast Butler Boulevard and Interstate 295. The project development plan states what is proposed: About 4,600 dwelling units, 3.5 million square feet of nonresidential space, 30 acres for recreation open space, 150 acres of passive open space and 165 acres of public rights-of-way or private thoroughfares. “Within neighborhoods, a broad range of housing types and price points can bring people from all backgrounds and stages of life into daily interaction, strengthening the personal and civic bonds essential to an authentic community,” says the planned unit development application. Another Arlington property is targeted for redevelopment. The owners of Town & Country Shopping Center at 903 University Blvd. N. are listing four outparcels for sale along the southern end of the property facing Arlington Expressway. Prime Realty is listing the properties, ranging from 0.42 acres to 0.61 acres, priced from $300,000 to $495,000. Three of the parcels are on the side of the property where owners demolished

a 21,700-square-foot building last summer that was built in 1954. The fourth is at the corner of University Boulevard and the expressway. Clark “I look at this as the entrance to Arlington and it deserves to have good tenants to bring life back to Arlington,” said Prime Realty Senior Vice President Matthew Clark. Clark said parcels can be combined for a small strip center.

Urban Air issued building permit Urban Air Adventure Park is coming to Southside now that the city issued a permit for a $1.7 million build-out at the former RH Outlet in Southside. Urban Air said in January it intends to open an indoor trampoline and activities venue in June at the location in The Shoppes at Southside at 9950 Southside Blvd. The site is between David’s Bridal and Best Buy in a retail center north of The Avenues mall. Able Construction Inc. is the contractor for the 41,560-square-foot project. Nove Studios LLC of Dallas is the architect.
