The Jacksonville-based nonprofit has been operating for 10 years in space donated by Load King Manufacturing Co. at 820 Barnett St. in the Rail Yard District. Rethreaded said it now employs 31 people in 2,800 square feet of space. Rethreaded describes itself as “a conscious gift company that uses business to benefit our community and our world” through long-term employment coupled with life and career development for survivors of human trafficking. Products include its signature scarves as well as accessories, jewelry, house goods, food, coffee and other items made by Rethreaded or offered through complementary organizations. Imeson International Industrial Park Inc. filed plans with the city for a 408,240-square-foot warehouse in the North Jacksonville business center. The Orlando-based developer proposes a 408,240-square-foot warehouse with 75 loading docks and 95 trailer parking spaces on 23.8 acres at 760 Yeager Road, where Cold Storage Road and Canada Drive interWebb sect with it. Plans show 425 parking spaces. No tenants are identified. Imeson International Industrial Park Inc. President Dan Webb said by email Nov. 28 the structure is a multitenant speculative building with a minimum tenant size of 60,000 square feet. He anticipates completion in the first quarter of 2022. Jacksonville-based EnVision Design + Engineering LLC is the agent and the civil engineer. Imeson International Industrial Park is at northeast Main Street and Zoo Parkway. Rethreaded Inc. bought the Springfield property at 515 E. Ninth St. that it intends to convert into its larger campus to support survivors of human trafficking. The nonprofit paid $1.1 million Jan. 29 for the 2.2-acre, three-building property from Boundless Futures LLC. Rethreaded is raising more than $2 million in its capital campaign to buy and renovate the facility it is naming The Delores Barr Weaver Campus For Hope. It says the property comprises 36,000 square feet of space among three buildings. It will move into the main building of more than 20,000 square feet. The two other buildings at The Delores Barr Weaver Campus of Hope will be used as rental properties to help cover Rethreaded’s utilities, maintenance and any future repairs. Rethreaded says the main building was built

DashMart to build-out warehouse in EastPark The city issued a permit Jan. 27 for DashMart, part of the DoorDash food-delivery network, to build-out a new delivery service for household essentials in a warehouse in EastPark Center West, Phase 3, at 11653 Central Parkway, No. 201. RPC General Contractors Inc. is the contractor for the project to renovate 9,696 square feet in suites 201-205 at a cost of $30,000. DashMart describes itself as a new type of convenience store. “On DashMart, you’ll find thousands of convenience, grocery, and restaurant items, from ice cream and chips, to cough medicine and dog food, to spice rubs and packaged desserts from the local restaurants you love on DoorDash,” it says.
