The 115-page Emerging Trends in Real Estate report, produced annually by PwC and the Urban Land Institute, listed characteristics and market strengths for Jacksonville, including that “good job and population growth is driving development.” ULI’s North Florida chapter will host three programs to present the findings in Jacksonville, Gainesville and Tallahassee. RS&H Inc. renovating headquarters
Architecture and engineering services firm paying $1.3 million to upgrade its space. Jacksonville-based RS&H Inc. is renovating its Deerwood Park area headquarters at a job cost of $1.3 million, according to a permit issued Wednesday by the city. Emerald C’s Development Inc. is the contractor for the renovations to the approximately 70,000 square feet of space the company leases in the Waterview I office building at 10748 Deerwood Park Blvd. S. Aaron Curtis, RS&H vice president of commercial realty, said the company is renovating its office space and implementing new workplace standards. He said those standards are designed to create “a more collaborative workplace, with enhancements to connectivity and more spaces where quick collaboration can happen.” RS&H also is upgrading its cafe area and adding a gym. The space will make way for almost 40 more workspaces. The work should be completed in April, company said. RS&H provides architecture, engineering and consulting services to clients needing facility

The Shops at Amelia Market sold The Shops at Amelia Market, the Fernandina Beach shopping center anchored by the Harris Teeter grocery store, was acquired in December by Atlanta-based Coro Realty Advisors for $14.8 million. The 75,221-square-foot center at 4800 First Coast Highway is near The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island hotel. The seller, an entity affiliated with Atlanta-based The Simpson Organization, was represented by The Shopping Center Group. According to a news release, the center is 83 percent leased.
