It’s hard to believe that 2025 is drawing to a close—and what a year it has been. Politically, we’ve witnessed dysfunction and division. Economically, many have felt the weight of rising prices and financial uncertainty. Personally, each of us has likely faced our share of trials and challenges. In moments like these, when life feels uncertain and heavy, it’s easy to become discouraged.

The enemy loves to shift our focus toward worry and negativity. Yet, God calls us to lift our thoughts higher.

As the Apostle Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:8 (NIV): “Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable— 2

Nominating Committee Announcement for 2026–2027 Term Thank you for your willingness to serve. The Nominating Committee is preparing for the election of ministry and committee leaders for the 2026–2027 term. Please read this document carefully and submit all requested information by the stated deadline.

In accordance with church bylaws, the Nominating Committee is responsible for presenting a slate of officers for the Trustee Board, standing committees, and ministries to the Pastor and Official Board. This includes nominating committee chairs and other elected leadership positions. The final slate will be presented for approval at the annual business meeting.

Key Dates & Submission Info: 1. Nominations for ministry leadership positions are due by Sunday, November 30.

2. Submit names via email to NominationsCommittee@ fmbc.org.

3. The committee will review submissions and report to the Pastor and Official Board by Friday, December 12.
