JACKSON HARVEY QUARLES Jackson Harvey Quarles is a native of Madison, Alabama, and a lifelong member of First Missionary Baptist Church. He is the son of Darrell and Yonka Quarles. Jackson is a servant leader passionate about empowering others, serving his community, and helping to develop the next generation. A graduate of James Clemens High School, Jackson began developing his passion for leadership and service at an early age. He served as Senior Student Body President, founded a student community group focused on service and positive engagement, and participated in athletics and several honor societies. Jackson continued his commitment to leadership at The University of Alabama (UA), where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a minor in African American Studies and later earned a Master of Public Administration with a focus in Policy Analysis and Organizational Management. During his time at UA, he served as an Official University Ambassador through Capstone Men and Women, held numerous leadership and service roles, and participated in organizations including the Blackburn Institute and Cardinal Key Honor Society. Jackson is a Spring 2022 initiate of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated through the Kappa Alpha Chapter. In 2023, he was appointed Assistant District Director for the Alabama District, where he served collegiate chapters statewide. He continues to be passionate about leadership, education, advocacy, and community service. Above all, Jackson is grateful for the foundation of faith, family, and service he received at First Missionary Baptist Church and is honored to continue serving the church that helped shape him.
