Troll - FOE!

You can tell troll footprints from their large, oval shape. As trolls are such heavy stompers, their tracks are deep-set and hard to miss – particularly if you stumble into one. Remember, if you spot these fearsome footprints in the daytime, you are perfectly safe – the troll will be in its petrified stony state in the sunlight.

Forest Giant - FOE

These huge four-toed footprints are about three times the height of an adult human. Though it’s unusual for forest giants to attack, the biggest creature in the wilderness is still best avoided. These irritable creatures are easily offended and grumpy at the best of times. Their prints are quite common throughout the wilderness.

FRIEND!

Black Hound - FOE!

The enormous black hound leaves huge paw prints, similar to a wolf ’s, with a lingering scent of wet dog. If you spot these tracks, leave the area calmly and very, very quickly. While it has not been spotted for many years, it has been noted that this beast will eat you.

Deer Fox - FRIEND!

Deer foxes have a unique hoof print, however, being quite swift, the deer fox is ordinarily too nimble to leave a mark on the forest floor. If you are lucky enough to glimpse one of these clever creatures, give it plenty of space – though loveable-looking, those antlers can be pretty sharp!

Guess I'm pretty luck y, then!
